Andrew Osborne< no role > Esqrs . Justices of the peace for this County
or any three or more of them as a Committee to
meet together and to take a view of the Room called
the Felons Room in New Prison aforesaid, and to
take to their assistance such able Workman or Workmen
as they shall think fit, and to see if thesaidFloor or
any other & what part or parts of the said Felons Room is
out of repaire, and not of sufficient strength for the
safe custody ofthePrisoners,therein,And if it shall
appeare so to be, Then to cause the sd. Felons Room
to be forthwith effectually repaired and strengthened in the Floor or such
part or parts of the same as are weak or out of repaire at
the charge of this County soe as the escape of PrisonersPrisoner
committed or to be committed [..]
may be thereby
hindred & prevented, And to employ such Workman
or Workmen as they shall think proper to do the same,
And to make their Report in writing touching the
premisses to the Court of General Quarter or General
sessions of the peace for this County,
