WHEREAS Complaint hath been made you, unto us
whose Hands and Seals are here unto set. two of his Ma-
jesty's Justices of the Peace (Quorum unus) for the County and Libty
aforesaid, ThatMary< no role > the wife of Richard Baskett< no role > is

Lately intrudedand Comeinto your saidParish
[..] there to inhabit as Parishioner, contrary to
the Laws relating to the Settlement of the Poor andisthere
likely to become chargeable, if not timely prevented. And.
whereas, upon due Examination and Enquiry made into the Pre-
misesas also upon oath of the above Richard Baskett< no role >
the Husbandit appears unto us, and we accordingly ad-
judge, That the saidMary his wife is
likely to become
chargeable and thathislast Legal Place of Settlement was in the
Parish of St. Ann within Aldersgate London Aforesaid

THESE are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to Order and
Require you the said Church- wardens and Overseers of the Poor
of St. James aforesaid, That you, or some of you do
forthwith remove and convey the saidMary Baskett< no role >
from your saidParish
to theParish of St. Anne in Aldersgate .aforesaid, andherdeliver
to the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or some, or
one of them, together with this our Warrant or Order, or a true
Copy here of, whereby they are likewise requir'd, in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Case made, forthwith
to receive the saidMary Baskett< no role >
into their saidParish and Careand provide forher
as their own Parishioner, Given under our Hands and Seals, the
