To the Rt. Honoble the Lords Commissions for Keeping the Great Seal of
Great Brittain

The Representation of this Majestyes Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middlesex at General Quarter Sessions
Assembled at Hicks Hall 16. Jany 1724

My Lords

It is with great unwillingness That we are drawn to trouble your Lordpps
with a Representation that bears so hard on Mr. Charles whingates< no role > [..] a Gentleman in the Commissions of Peace
for the County of Middlesex and also for the City and Liberty of Westmr . But think we Should be Justly
Vanwalle by your Lordships if Practices so Illegall as these are, which we Presume to lay before you
Should have Come to your Knowledge by any other hands than ours whose duty we Conceive it to be to repre-
-Sent them.

And We presume humbly to referr it to your Cordships Considerations Whether this
Gentleman who has gone so far out of the Character of a Magistrate Shall be any longer Continued
in the Commission of Peace; A Middlesex Justice being already, by Such kind of mean Irregular and
Illegall Practices, become a word of Contempt For my Lords there is Nothing more Certain, we think,
[..] Hamble: [..] these who Command loose all Sence of theme, those to [..] to obey will loose all
