To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields in the County of
Middx and to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the Said
County of Middx and for each and every of them

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us Two of his Parish
Justices of the Peace for the said County of Middx (Quor Unus)
by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of St. Martin in the Fields That Joseph Gillet< no role > aged about Eleven
Weeks
was brought & left on the said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields
contrary to Law not having gained any legall Settlement there And
that he is likely to become Chargeable to the said Parish of St. Martin
in the Fields

And Whereas upon Examination thereof taken before
Us upon Old and other Circumstances it appears unto Us that the
said Joseph Gillet< no role > was last legally Settle [..] the said Parish of
St. Giles in this Fields in the said [..] Middx

[..] Said Justices do [..] Adjudge that
the said [..] Giles in the Fields in the said last [..]
Middx is [..] & Place of the last legall Settlement of
the said Joseph Gillet< no role > and that he is likely to become Chargeable
to the said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields

These are therefore in his Majesty's Name together
and Commond you the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St. Martin in the Fields to remove & some of
the said Joseph Gillet< no role > out of and from your said Parish unto the
said Parish of St Giles in the Fields in the said County of
Middx and him to deliver to the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or to some or one of them Who are hereby
required to receive the said Joseph Gillet< no role > into their Care &
to Provide for him according to Law hereof fail not at your
Perills Given under our hands and Seales this Ninth day of
April Anno Dom 1724 .
