Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of
His Maties Justices of ye peace for the County of Midd
(Quor unus) by the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
Poor of the parish of St. Giles in the fields in the sd.
County That Anne Smith< no role > widow of Lawrence
Smith
< no role > Deced wth. anne < no role > aged about eight years
Daughter of the said Anne Smith< no role > by her said late
husband are lately come into the said parish
endeavouring to settle there contrary to Law And
it appeareth unto us the said Justices & wee do adjudge
that they are likely to become chargeable to ye. sd. parish
And upon Exaiacon of the said Anne Smith< no role > taken
upon Oath it farther appeareth unto us & wee do
likewise adjudge that the parish of St. Andrew Holborn
in the Libty above the Barrs in the sd. County is
he place of the last legall Settlemt. of the said
Anne Smith< no role > & Anne < no role > her Daughter and do therefore
[..] His Maties name charge Hernand ye Church-
wardens & Overseers of the poor of the sd. parish of
St Giles in the fields forthwth. to remove & convey the
sd. Anne Smith< no role > & Anne < no role > her Daughter from the sd.
parish of St. Giles in the fields to the sd. parish
of St. Andrew Holborn in the Libty above the Barrs
& deliver them to ye Churchwardens & Overseers of the
Poor there or to some or one of them who are
hereby required to provide for them according to
Law. Given under our hands & Seales the 9th. day
of February 1722

To ye Churchwardens & Overseers of ye Poor of ye
respective parishes of Sd. Giles in ye fields &
St. Andrew Holborn in the Libty above the Barrs
in the County of Midd and to all other Officers
whom may Concern
