The humble Petition of John Warden< no role > Carpenter

Sheweth


That your petitioner hath laid out about the sum
of Eighty Pounds for Repairing the house of Correction at
Clerkenwell in this County but it being referred to John Fuller< no role > Alexr.
Ward
< no role > John Ellis< no role > of Denmark Street Thomas Pindon< no role > and Mathew
Hewitt
< no role > Esqr. Justices of the peace for this County or any three of them
to View the said Work which they did and have only reported
due to the Petitioner Thirty five pounds Seven Shilling and Seven
Pence halfe penny Exclusive of Carpenteres & of Plumbers work which
they say they cannot discern where the same is done

That Your Petr. Finding he is likely to loose a Consider;
able sum of Money by the said report he therefore most humbly
this prays this Court will please to appoint Captain Boswells
on any other Competent Judge to Estimate the work of all kinds
and to upont to yer. Worships what he Deserves for the Same
and Yor. Petitioner shall readily agree to the same

And us in Duty bound shall
ever pray.
