An Order of Sessions wassome time sincesent you some time sincewas formealy sent into yor. Divisionrecomending
it to the Justices of the Peace to Orderresideing within yor. Divisionthereinat their
speciall or Petty Sessions or other meetings in their respcive
parishes to give Order & direccon that 20s. be paid into yor.
hands for every parish hamblett & Liberty in yor. Division
by the Scavengers thereof for the raiseing of money for defraying the expence of
printing & delivering a great Number of Extracts of all the
Statutes relating to the paveing & cleanseing the streets
Lanes & other publique places comprized within the Bills
of Mortality to the intent that the streets might be effectually
cleansed & paved in order to prevent the plagne Etc, wth. money
you [..] are by the sd. Order to pay over to the Cl of the
peace or his Depty to be disposed of for defraying the expence
of Printing & delivering the sd. Extracts as the Generall or
Quarter Sessions Shall direct, But you haveing not yet
paid any such money to the sd Cl of the peace or his Depty
and there being likely to be great inquiry made at the next
Sessions concerning what Endoavors. have been madeto
obtaineby you to obtaine the Paymt. of the sd. money I send
this to you to putt you in mind of this affaire, and to desire
you (if you have reced the said money) to pay over thesd moneysame
forthwith to the Cl of the peace or his Depty, Or if you have
not yet reced the same to apply to yor Justices of peace in order to have raised & pay [..] before the next Sessions,
