for the said County this 13th. day of July 1720
This Deponent declareth upon Oath that he
being Gardner
to His Majties.
Royall Hospitall
at Chelsea
, did miss severall Valuable goods
out of the Kitchen Garden of the Said Hosptll.
but perticularly on Wednesday Morning this
present 13th. day of July
goeing into the Said
Garden he found that all the Melon and
Cucumber Bedds, with other Valuable goods the
product of that ground; had been feloniously
taken away the preceeding Night. Upon wth.
the making inquiry, had just cause and reason
to Suspect Severall Idle and disorderly persons
of the Parish of Chelsea in the County abovesaid
and having obtained a Search Warrant, he
found the afore mention'd Goods in the House
and posession of Peter Cliff< no role >
