County of Middx .

The humble Petition of Thomas:
Gosden
< no role > of the Hamblett of
Wapping Stepney in the said
County.

Sheweth


That in March last your Petr was Passed from the
Parish of St Olave Southwarke to the aforesaid
Hamblett as the place of this case Legall Settlement
That upon application made by yor Petr to this
Court for relief that the Churchwarden promised to
allow your Petr. Eighteen Pence P weeke Pention
But hath not allowed him anything And
forasmuch at yr petr by reason of his great
age is rendred uncapable of Doing any.
thing for a Lively hood and being Lame must
perish in the Streets unless relieved by the
goodness of this Court.

Yor Petr: most humbly prays this
Court will be pleased to appoint a day
this Sessions for the Churchwardens
to attend to there cause why your
poor petr: should not be allowed some
relief for his Support in this Extretialy

And Yor Petr Shall Ever pray Etc
