The humble Petition and Appeal.

Sheweth

That by Order Dated the First day of Aprill Anno Dom 1718
under the hands and Seales of Thomas Rand< no role > and Isaac
Tillard< no role > Esqrs . two of his Matys Justices of the Peace for this
County (Quor un) Your Petitr was adjudged the Putative
Father of a Female Bastard Child Lately borne in the Parish
of St Mary Islington in this County of the Body of Jane Benskin< no role > of the
same Parish Singlewoman

That Your Petr. conceives himselfe aggrieved by the said
order of the said Two Justices and Appeals against the
same to this Court,

That [..] your Petr: was not untill very lately Served with
a Coppy of the said Order of Adjudication which Notice
being soe very Short yor Petr: is not [..] beable to gott
his Wittnesses ready to try the sd Appeal this Sessions.

Yor Petr: therefore humbly prays yor worshipps
will be pleased to Reseite his Recognizance.
untill the next Generall Quarter Sessions
and likewise the hearing of the sd Appeal

And Yor. Petitr Shall Ever pray Etc.
