To the Chappel Wardens & Overseers of
the poor of the towne of Uxbridge in the
parish of Hillingdon in the County of
Middx & to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the pay [..]
of the parish of Aylsbury in the County of Bucks &
Each & every of them.

Whereas it appeerath unto is two of his Maties Justices
of the peace for the said County of Middx (Quorum unus)
upon the complaint of the Chappel Warden & Overseers
of the poor of the said towne of Uxbridge That Thomas
Higgins
< no role > is come into the said towne of Uxbridge Ende [..]
to setle there contrary to law and that the said Thomas
Higgins
< no role > is likely to become chargeable to the said towne [..]
of Uxbridge unles due care bee taken to prevent the
same. Wee the said Justice, upon hearing the said
complaint and upon Examination of the said Thomas
Higgins
< no role > upon Oath de adjudge all & singuler the said
premisses to bee true, And wee do farther adindge that
the said parish of Aylsbury is the place of the last legal
setlement of the said Thomas Higgins< no role > . This are
therefore in his Maties name to authorize & command
you the said Chappelwardens & Overseers of the poor
of the said town of the Uxbridge that you some or one
of you do forthwith remove & convey the said Thomas
Higgins
< no role > out of your said towne of Uxbridge to the
said parish of Aylesbury (hee being a hired servant
by the yeere to one William Church< no role > now an Inn keeper
there and having lived with him as such for the space
of Seaven yeere, & upwards until about the 24th
day of August last past ) and you are to deliver any
to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of Aylsbury or to some or one of them together
with this precept or a true coppy thereof [..]
hereby required to receive & provide for him
according to law. Given under our hands & seals
the 16th. day of November Anno Dui 1717
