Whereas upon reading the appeale of the Churchwarens
& Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Mary
Whitechappell in this County exhibited unto this Court
on the ninth day of January instant against an Order
under the hands & seales of Samuel [..] Jones< no role > & Edwd
Johnson< no role > Esqrs . two of his Maties. Justices of the peace for-
the said County (Quorum unus) bearing date the-
fifth day of January instant whereby Christian
Hill< no role > was removed from the [..] hamlett of Ratcliffe
in the parish of Stepney in this County to the said
parish of St. Mary Whitechappell as the place of her
last legall settlemt, It was Ordered by this Court that
the Churchwarden & Overseers of the poor of the
said hamblett of Ratcliffe & all other persons
concerned should attend this Court on this twelfth
day of January instant to heare & abide the Judgmt. & determinacon of this Court touching the said appeale, And Mr. Serjt. Darnall of Councell for the-
Inhabitants of the said hamblett of Ratcliffe & Mr. Corbett
of Councell for the Inhabitants of the said parish of
St. Mary Whitechappell now attending this Court,
And severall reasons being offered to this Court-
for adjorning the hearing of the
said appeale, It is Ordered by this Court that the
benefit of the said appeale be saved unto the said
Appellants, and that the hearing & determining-
thereof be adjorned untill the next Generall Sessions
