The humble Petition and Appeal
of the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St
Benedict als Benefink London

Sheweth


That by Order Dated the Tenth day of February Anno
Dom 1714 under the hands and Seales of Samuel
Benson
< no role > and Nathaniel Manlove< no role > Esqrs : two of his Matys
Justices of the Peace for this County (Quor unnc)
Robert Thomson< no role > with Mary< no role > his Wife and his five
Children were removed from the Hamblett of Bethnall
Greene in the Parish of St Dunstan Stepney in this
County to the Parish of St Benedict als Benefink
aforesaid as the place of the last legall Settlement
of the said Robert Thomson< no role >

That your Petitrs conceive themselves aggrieved by the sd
order of the said two Justices and Appeal against the
same to this Court

They therefore humbly yor Worspps will be
pleased to order the Churchwardens & Ovseers
of the poor of the said Parish of St Dunstan
Stepney to attend this Court some day next.
Sessions to hear & abide the Judgment &
Determination of this Court touching
the sd Appeal Yor Petitrs: most materiall
Evidence being out of Towne & cannot
attend this Sessions

And Yor Petitrs: shall ever pray Etc
