the County of Middlesex.

The humble Petition of Giles Quinny< no role >
Governour of the House of Correction
at Clerkenwell in the said County

Sheweth


That the Dwelting House belonging to the said House of Correction
is very ruinous and Decayed and the Foundation thereof very defective
Insoemuch the same is ready to fall Soe that your Petitioner cannot
live in the same unlesse speedily Repaired And for as much as the
said Prison being very Insufficient (The Convicts comitted thither
having frequently broke out and Escaped)

Your Petitr: therefore humbly prays Your
Worspps will be pleased to order that a view
may be taken of the said Dwelling house
and Prison and that the same may be
effectually Repaired

And Your Petitr. shall ever pray Etc.
