To the Right Worpfull his Majties Justices of the Peace for the County of an
Midlx Assembled in Quarter Sessions

The humble Peticon and Appeale of Sr . John Mordannt< no role > Barronett

Sheweth


That Order dated the eight day of this instant Month of January under
the hands and Seales of John Fuller< no role > and Alexander Ward< no role > Esqr two of his
Maties Justices of the Peace for the Said County of Midlx (QuorumYaas) Your Peticoners in
Adjudged to be reputed father of a Male Bastard Childe borne in the
parish of St. James Clerkenwell of the body of Mary Stanton< no role > Singlewoman
on the Seventeenth day of December last pasts which Childe was Baptized John< no role >
and has been chargeable to the Said parish (as is alledged) and that the said Childe
is Since dead.

That thereby Your Peticoner is ordered to pay to Tobias Gibson< no role > the present
Churchwarden of the Said parish of St. James Clerkenwell or to the Overseers of the
poore of the Same the Sume of five pounds and eighteen Shillings forth with upon
Sight thereof by them then already laid only and expended (as is pretended) in the
necessary Support and reliese of the Said Mary Stanton< no role > in the time of her King
in and for the Christning and buriall of the Said Bastard Childe, And that
Your Peticoner Should give Sufficient Security unto the Said Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poore of the Said parish of St. James Clerkenwell for the due
performance of the Said Order.

Your Peticoner finding himselfe aggrieved by the Said Order of the Said
two Justices of the Peace, humbly appeals against the Same to this Worpll. Count

Your Peticoner therefore humbly prays Your worps would please to appoint
a day this present Sessions for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
poore of the Said parish and all other persons concerned to Attend and to
heare and abide the Judgement and determinacon of this Court
upon and touching the Said Appeale, and that Your Peticoner may be
relieved herein as to Your Worps Shall Seem meet

And Your Peticoner as in duty bound Shall pray Etc
