Midds ss:


Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us two of her Majestees
Justices of the Peace, for the County of Midds (Quorum Unns Etc)
By the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the parish of
Heston in the County of Midds, that Henry Hodges< no role > Aged about
fifty years, hath Intruded into the Said parich of Heston endeavor-
-ing to settle there and to became chargeable to the said parich of
Heston And Whereas upon Examenation of the prmess upon Oath
It Appeareth unto us the said Justices, that the said Henry Hodge< no role > s was
born in the parich of Langley in the County of Bucks , and that
he the said Henry Hodges< no role > hath Acquired no legal Settlement Since
his Birth elswhere so that the parich of Langley Aforesaid, is the
Legal place of Settlement, to which by Law he ought to be Sent.

And Wee Do Accordingly so Adjudge.

Those are therefore in her Majestees Name to Order and Requier
you the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poore of the said parich
of Heston that you or some of you Do forth with Remove and Conv [..]
the said Henry Hodges< no role > , from the said parich of Heston , the Next way
to the said parich of Langley and him to deliver to the Church
Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some or One of them
With this Our Warrt. and ordr. - or a Copy thereof Who are
likewise Required, in her majtees: name, and by Virtue of the said
in such Case made and provided, forthwith to Receive the said Henry
Hodges
< no role > into the said parich of Langley and Provide for him according
to Law, And hereof faile not at your peril Given under our hands
and Seales thee 31th Day of March Anno Din 1714 .

To the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
