To the Constables Church Wardens & Overseers of ye Poor of ye Parish
of St. [..] Mary Islington in ye County of Midds : And to ye Church Wardens
& Overseers of ye Poor of ye Parish of St. Leonard Foster Lane London
Whereas it appeareth unto us Two of her Maties: Justices of ye Peace
for ye County of Midds (Quorum) upon ye Complt: of ye Church Wardens and
Overseers of ye poor of ye Parish of St. Mary Islington in ye Sd County That

Everingdine
< no role > a Child abt. four Years old ye Daughter & Son of William
Everingdine
< no role > & Alice< no role > his wife were lately brought & left to be
kept & Nurst by Helen< no role > ye Wife of [..] Gilbert
Jones
< no role > of ye Sd Parish of St Mary Islington [..] And whereas
it further appeareth unto us That ye sd Father & Mother of ye sd
two Children are lately gone away & have left the sd Children wth: ye
Sd [..] Gilbert Jones< no role > & hired wife wthout takeing any Care to
provide for theme & that the Sd Gilbert Jones < no role > & his Sd wife are not ger
able to maintain them by reason whereof ye sd Children who have not
any thing where wth to maintain themselves will unavoidably become
a great Charge to ye Sd Parish of St: Mary Islington if not Speedily Prvented,
And whereas it likewise appeareth unto Us upon the Informacon
of ye Sd Gilbert Jones upon Oath That abt: four Years ago the Sd William
Everingdine
< no role > Sen was an Inhitant in Round Court in St Martin le
Grand in the Parish of St. Leonard Foster Lane London , where tie
rented A house of [..] Thirteen pounds P Ann, or thereabt:
& continued an Instant in the Same house three Years or thereabt.
And now upon carefull & diligent Exaiason we cannot finde the
the Sd William Everingdine< no role > Sen hath gained any legal Settlemt:
Since: We do therefore Adjudge the Sd Parish of St. Leonard Foster Lane
London to be the place of the last legall Settlemt: of the Sd: William
Everingdine
< no role > the Fath of & that his Sd Two Children ought to be
Sent the thro.

These are therefore in her Maties: name to require You & every or any of your
Sight hereof to Parish & Convey the Sd Two Children Jane Everingdine< no role > & William
Everingdine
< no role > from the Sd Parish of St: Mary Islington to the Sd Parish of St Leonard
Foster Lane , & to deliver them, together wth this Prcept to ye Church Wardens and
Overseers of ye Poor there or to Some or One of them, who are hereby required
to receive & provide for them as they do for other such Poor of their sd. Prson
as their Necessities shall require untill they shall be Freedom they
Couse of Law. And this shall be Yors. Wart: given under our hands & sd this
Twenty Seventh day of September Anno Domini. 1711
