District in which such Town Parish and Place so assessed doth lie he is
by the said Act of Parliament empowered and is hereby required to levy the
same by Distress and Sale of the Goods and Chattels of such Churchwardens
Chapelwardens or Overseers of the Poor or any of them so refusing or
neglecting to pay the same as aforesaid by Warrant under the Hands and
Seals of two or more Justices of the Peace of the said County residing in or
near such Town Parish or Place rendering the overplus (if any there be)
after deducting the Money assessed and the Charges of the Distress and Sale
to the Owner or Owners thereof and the High Constables Churchwardens
Chapelwardens and Overseers of the Poor in the said County are not to fail of
performing the matters and things abovementioned enjoined them by this Order
in pursuance of the said Act of Parliament under the Penalties mentioned in
the said Act.

The following Proposal of Henry Wood< no role > for Arching over the
Cells and Passages on the first and second Floor of the House of Correction
in Cold Bath fields with circular hollow Cones being laid before the Court and
Read in the following Words Vizt.

"Proposals for Arching over the several Cells and Passages
"on the first and second Floor of the House of Correction in Cold Bath
"fields with circular hollow Cones as shall be directed.

"To provide sound hard well burnt hollow Cones all samel or
"unsound to be rejected, to be set, in Lime Cement, to provide good and
"Sufficient Centering, Labor, and every other material and incidental
" Expence attending the same. The aforesaid Work and Materials to
"be done at the Rate of Five Pounds Ten shillings per Square on the
"Measurement of the Arch, exclusive of the filling in or Spandrills, All
"Openings to be deducted, Payment by Certificate of the Surveyor for
"every One Hundred Pounds of Work done to be paid Ninety two Pounds
"and the remainder upon Certificate of the Surveyor when the whole is
"finished".
