and also for the preservation of the Pavement of the Carriage Way of the said Street be
properly obeyed and carried into Execution and to do such other Acts for the better
Government thereof as shall appear to be necessary and Your Committee recommend
it to the Court to appoint a Proper Person to be Clerk to the said Committee, and that
the Person so appointed should also be appointed Treasurer of the Haymarket Tolls
that the Offices of Clerk and Treasurer may be united and be Executed by one Person as
heretofore.

All which the Committee Submit Etc.

It was Moved that the said Report be Ratified and Confirmed and the
same being Agreed to It is Ordered that the said Report be and the same is hereby
Ratified and Confirmed accordingly.

Resolved that James's Adams be and he is hereby appointed Inspector
of the Pavement of the Carriage Way of the Saint James's Haymarket .

Resolved that a standing Committee be appointed to see that the Rules
and Orders made for the management of the Tolls of the Saint James Haymarket and
for the preservation of the Pavement of the Carriage Way of the said Street be properly
obeyed and carried into Execution and to do such other Acts for the better Government
thereof as shall appear to them to be necessary and proper, and that
