Contractor, The Contractor to provide all Materials & being in Ground
necessary for compleating the said Work & clear & carry away the Rubbish
occasion'd by the same - If you think proper to make Proposals for Contracting
for the above Work at& St. Supl. Measure of New Gunstone including all
the aforesaid considerations such Proposal must be given in on or before 12
o Clock at noon or ye. 10th. June next at the Clerk of the Peace 's Office on
Clerkenwell Green .

The following Proposals were laid before the Court Vizt.
No.1The Proposal of Henry Burrell< no role >
No.2The Proposal of Messrs. Morgans and Birrells
No.3The Proposal of Thomas Brayne< no role > .

And the said last mentioned Proposal of the said Thomas Brayne< no role >
appearing to be most advantageous for the County Resolved that he be
Contracted with for the performance of the said Work.

By Adjournment at the Session House aforesaid on
Saturday the 25th. day of June 1791 Before William
Mainwaring

At this Court Mr Rogers the County Surveyor attended pursuant
to the Order for that purpose with a Particular of some Alterations in the
New intended House of Correction in consequence of the directions given by the
Justices on the 9th. Instant which was Read as follows Vizt.

General Proposals for Alterations to the House of Correction
for the County of Middlesex .
