Scrutineers to examine the same and the said Ballot being Closed
and the Scrutineers having examined the same made the following
Report of the State thereof Vizt. That 88 of His Majestys Justices of
the Peace for this County had Ballotted of which number there

Whereupon a Motion was made That the said
William Mason< no role >
is duly Elected Surveyor or Supervisor for the Parishes
of Saint Georges in the East
and Saint Bololph without Aldgate
in this
County to see the Rules and Regulations contained in the Act of
Parliament made in the Fourteenth Year of the Reign of his present
Majesty for the better regulation of Buildings and Party Walls well
and truly observed during the pleasure of the Court pursuant to the
said Act which being Agreed to Resolved that the said William
Mason is duly Elected Surveyor or Supervisor of the said District
under the said Act of Parliament and then the said William Mason< no role >
was called in and Acquainted with his Election and took the Oath directed
by the said Act for the true and impartial Execution of the said Offices

Committee.
The said Committee Report, That upon a general
Survey taken by them It is their Opinion that the Pavement of the
Haymarket
is very much out of Repair and that the Contractor has
neglected the Repair thereof.
