February 1786

the Particular or description thereof which has now been laid before
the Court be lodged in the Office of the Clerk of the Peace for this County
for the inspection and Consideration of the Magistrates of this County. And
that a circular Letter be sent by the Clerk of the Peace to His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for this County giving Notice thereof.

Resolved that Notice be given in the Publick News Papers
previous to the next Session That his Majesty's Justices of the Peace will
on Thursday the Twenty seventh day of April next being the County day
proceed to the Consideration of the several matters respecting the said
House of Correction .

Resolved that a Bill be prepared to be presented to
Parliament To Enable His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex to raise a Sum of Money by way of Annuity or Tontine for the
purpose of Building an House of Correction for the said County.

Resolved that William Mainwaring< no role > Esqr . Chairman of the
Sessions, Sir Herbert Mackworth< no role > Bart . and William Bleamire< no role > Esqr . be a
Committee to prepare the said Bill and to carry the same
through Parliament.

Resolved that the Thanks of this Court be given to the
Committee "for preparing a Plan for a House of Correction Etc" for their
great care and diligent attention to that Business and particularly to the
Reverend Dr. Glasse for the able and Accurate manner in which he has
drawn up the Report of their proceedings

The following Report from The Committee appointed " To
"Consider the Allegations contained in a Petition delivered by Henry
Adams
< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. Contractor for conveying Vagrants in through and out of this
"County and all other Circumstances relative to the passing of
"Vagrants as they may think proper " being laid before the Court
and Read in the following Words Vizt.

Middlesex

" To His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Session of the Peace holden for the said
County by adjournment on Wednesday the 29th. day of March 1786
assembled.
