Middlesex .

At the General Session of the Peace of our Lord the King holden
in and for the County of Middlesex at the Sessions House for the said
County on Monday the Twentieth day of February in the Twenty sixth
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third King of
Great Britain Etc and from thence continued by several
adjournment to this day (to wit) Thursday the Twenty third day

His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this County in this present Session
assembled do unanimously Reelect William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire
Chairman of the General and General Quarter Sessions of the peace for this County
for and during the half year now next Ensuing and do unanimously return him
their Thanks for his attention to the Business of the Sessions

William Mainwaring< no role > Esquire the Chairman having Read the order of Reference
to the Committee appointed to Inspect the Plans already delivered in for the Consideration
of the Sessions and to prepare a Plan proper for a House of Correction for this County on
the Ground now agreed to be purchased of Jervoise Clarke Jervoise< no role > Esqr . and others
in Cold Bath fields - William Bleamire Esqr. the Chairman of the said Committee
Stated to the Court That the said Committee had met several times under the said
Order of Reference and had come to several Resolutions thereupon, but that they had
not been able to complete a Plan proper for that purpose and to prepare their
