A Particular of Mason and Smiths Work necessary
to be done at the Sessions House on Clerkenwell Green
being read
in the following Words Vizt.
"The Particulars of Masons and Smiths Works intended
to be done for His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex
at the Sessions House on Clerkenwell Green
North & South Fronts Smith's Work.. Four lengths of Cast Iron Railing similar
to those round the Airys to Continue along the said fronts. Except the
middle projecting parts, the Ends next the West front to be rounded
and a return up to Mr Halls Door.
West Front.. a Length of the same to be fixed on one side the Bow
towards the South side, and connected by the rounded, part with the
Railing on the South side
All the above to be let into the stone & run with Lead
The Standards and Braces were necessary and Top Rails to be of
wrought Iron
Two Semicurcular Wrought Iron Barrs with stones fixed to the
stone Piers & Iron Rails next East front present passengers stopping
there.
