September 1785

Twelve hundred Pounds being the residue of the purchase Money till the
possession of the Premises is delivered up by them and that the Rent to be paid
for the same be reduced by deducting from the former Rent the Sum of
Twelve Pounds being the rent of the Garden Ground the possession of
which has been delivered up to the County

Josh. Woods< no role > is desired to take this Minute to the Six Weeks meeting

And this Meeting agreed to occupy the Premises and to
suspend the Receipt of the remaining Twelve hundred Pounds and final
accomplishment of the Original Agreement with the Justices of the County
of Middlesex for one year after the 11th. of the 9th. month next on the
Terms offered in the foregoing Resolution of the Quarter Session.

Copy hereof to the Clerk of the court
a true Copy

It is Ordered that the same be received and filed

By adjournment same day
It being represented to the Court by John Staples< no role > Esqr . one of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for this County acting in and for the Tower
Division That certain Disorders are carrying on by a number of persons
acting plays Interludes and other Theatrical Representations at the
Assembly House at Mile End in this County

Resolved That It be recommended to His Majestys
Justices of the Peace for this County residing and acting in and for
the said Division to use their Endeavours immediately to suppress
the same and

That the Clerk of the Peace be directed to send Copies
of this Resolution to the several Magistrates of this County acting
in and for the said Division.
