and read as follows Vizt.

"To the Worshipful William Mainwaring< no role > Esqr . and the
rest of this Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Session assembled

The Humble Petition of John Martin< no role >
Humbly Sheweth

That your Petitioner has attended as Door Keeper
and Messenger to this Honourable Court for one year ending at this
present Session

Your Petitioner therefore Humbly Prays
that your Worships would be pleased to
order him such Salary or Gratuity as to your
Worships shall seem meet & your Petitioner
will ever Pray etc

It is Ordered that the said Petition be referred to the
Committee appointed to examine and audit the Demands made upon
this County and that they do report their Opinion thereon to the Court

A Petition from Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. Contractor for Conveyd.
Vagrants in through and out of this County being presented to the
Court and read as follows Vizt.

"To the Worshipful Wm. Mainwaring< no role > Esqr . the Chairman and
the rest of His Majesty's Justices of the peace for the County
of Middlesex in their session of the peace holden for the said
County in September 1785 assembled

The Humble Petition of Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591.
Humbly Sheweth

That in April Session 1774 your Petitioner succeeded
his late Father James Sturges. Adams as Contractor for conveying Vagrant.
in through and out of this County that your Petitioner has an allowance
of £250. P annum under his Contract for conveying exclusive of the
subsistence of Vagrants till passed and while passing
