It is Ordered that the Committee appointed to carry into
immediate and effectual Execution the Repair of New Prison
and Clerkenwell
Bridewell
do meet in order to proceed in the consideration of the several
matters to them referred on Saturday theday of April instant
at the hour of 12 at noon at Hicks Hall
in Saint John Street
By adjournment same day.
By adjournment 13. April 1782.
It appearing to the Court that the damage Danger do which
created the necessity for a Military Guard at the House of Correction
at
Clerkenwell
no longer exists It is the Opinion of this Court that the
County ought not to be at any further expence relative to a Military
Guard at the said House of Correction
: and it is ordered that Mr.
Crozier the Governor
of the said House of Correction
be forthwith
informed of the Premises, Whereupon
Mr. Crozier being present in Court was made
acquainted with the Opinion of the Court touching the Premises by
having the entry last above openly read unto him
