The following Report from the Committee appointed to [..]
into reconsideration the Merits of a Petition from Mr. Edward Ha [..]
Governor of the House of Correction at Clerkenwell into Reconsideration
Report their Opinion whether any and what Compensation should
made to the said Edward Hall< no role > for the Services therein mention [..]
as also to enquire into the profits of the said Office of Governor of
said House of Correction being laid before this Court ande the [..]
being read Vizt.

Middlesex

To His Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the peace held at
Hall in Saint John Screet (by adjournment) on Thursday the 22d. a [..]
October 1778 assembled

The Report of the Committee appoin [..]
take the Merits of a Petition from Mr. Edward
Governor of the House of Correction at Clerke [..]
into reconsideration and Report their Opi [..]
whether any and what Compensation shoul [..]
made to the said Edward Hall< no role > for the servi [..]
therein mentioned as also to Enquire into
profits of the said Office of Governour of the
House of Correction

The said Committee Report

That in pursuance of the Order of reference to them [..]
Vizt. that the Petition of the said Edward Hall< no role > be referred back to
Committee appointed to take the Merits of the said Petition into Consi [..]
for their further Consideration and Opinion whether any and whi [..]
Compensation should be made to the said Edward Hall< no role > for the Ser [..]
therein mentioned and to Enquire into the profits of the said Office o [..]
Governour of the said House of Correction" having taken into further
Consideration the said Petition and Examined Mr. Hall touching
profits of his Office they do recommend it to the Court to confirm
allowance of Twenty five Pounds per Annum for Two Years paid
on the County day of July Session last as also the allowance of a
of Fifty Pounds per Annum to commence from the Sixteenth [..]
July last into the said Edward Hall< no role > for his Trouble Care and
in managing the Convicts in his Custody being the Sums and
allowances mentioned in the former Report of this Committee
