attend each Goal or prison respectively And Whereas a [..]
General Quarter Session of the Peace holden at the Guild hall [..]
and for the said City and Liberty on Tuesday the Fifteenth day
January in the Fifteenth Year of the Reign of his present Maj [..]
William Frederick Glover< no role > of Clements Inn Surgeon was [..]
this Court duly appointed Surgeon to Tothill fields Brickwell [..]
within this Liberty at a Salary of Twenty pounds a Year and
be paid for his Medicines and the said William Frederick [..]
having Petitioned this Court at the present General quarter
Session for the Sum of Thirty five pounds for one Year and the
Quarters Salary for his attendance on the Prisoners in the
Prison due on the third day of this Instant October and the
William Frederick Glover< no role > having presented two Bills of [..]
pounds four shillings and Ten pence and Seven pounds [..]
Nine Pence half penny for medicines administered [..]
Prisoners in Tothill fields Brickwell and it appearing
writing under the Hands of Sir John Fielding< no role > Knight [..]
and William Addington< no role > Esquire two of his Majesty
Justices of the Peace for the sd City and Liberty that he Cha [..]
therein are just and reasonable It is ordered and dire [..]
that Mr. John Benson< no role > Treasurer of the County of Mid [..]
do pay to the said William Frederick Glover< no role > the said Sur [..]
Thirty five pounds Eight Pounds four shillings and
Ten pence and Seven pounds and Nine pence Half [..]
and that his receipt with this order shall be a sufficient
discharge to the said Treasurer for such payment

It was moved that the Clerk of the Peace for this County
write to the Clerk of the Peace for the City and Liberty of
Westminster to inform him that his Majestys Justice
of the peace for the County of Middlesex do conceive [..]
they have no power to order the payment of the Sum
mentioned in their order of the 10th. of October Instants [..]
the Treasurer of this County but that his Majesty's Jus [..]
of the Peace for the said County are ready to unite w [..]
the Gentleman in the Commission of the Peace for the [..]
and Liberty of Westminster in obtaining a power
Parliament for this Purpose
