Appointment of Mr.
Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. to convey
Vagrants in thro' and
out of the County in
the place and stead
of James Sturges< no role > Adams
his late father at [..] }

A Petition being presented unto this Court by Henry
Adams
< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. setting forth that his late father James Sturges Adams
was contractor for conveying tagrants for the County of Mid
-dlesex near seventeen Years that he the said Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. had
been for near Sixteen Years last past constantly resident with and
Assistant to his father in such business and did on the
County day in last Session present an humble petitioner
praying to be admitted Contractor in the stead of his late
father and now praying to be permitted to continue the
Contract for conveying such Vagrants according to his forme [..]
prayer and the Court taking the Premises into Considerat [..]
It is Ordered That the said Henry Adams< no role > This name instance is in set 1591. be admitted to
Convey the Vagrants in through and out of this County
upon the same terms and conditions and under the saidContract as his
late father did, during the pleasure of this Court.

Order for a representation
to the Board of Ordinance
concerning the exhibition
of Fire works at Marybone
Gardens }

This Court having received Information that the proprietors of
Mary bone Gardens have advertized that they shall exhibit Fire
Works the approaching Season under a License from the Board of
Ordnance notwithstanding the order of the Court made in
Michaelmas Session last upon their application for a License under
the Statute for regulating places of public entertainment It is ordered
that Sir John Hawkins< no role > Chairman of the Sessions be requested to
wait on Six Charles Frederick< no role > and represent to him that the
exhibiting of Fire Works at places of public entertainment is
productive of Many wils and is contrary to the sense and
direction of this Court
