ted High Constable
of Tower Division
in the room of James
Backhouse.}

Sworn in Court.

It is ordered by this Court that Mr. James Backhouse< no role > High Constable of the
Eastern Division of the Hundred of Ossulston called the Tower Division in this
County (who hath served the said Office for more than the space of three years)
be and he is hereby absolutely discharged from his said Office of High Constable
And this Court doth appoint James Caney< no role > of Ratcliff highway in the said
Division and Hundred Gentleman upon the Recommendation of the Justices
of the Peace of the County residing in the said Division to be High Constable of
the Division aforesaid in the place and stead of the said James Backhouse And
doth order that the said James Caney< no role > do forthwith attend and take his Oath
in this Court for the due Execution of his said Office
