of the Sessions reported that he had attended
his Grace the Duked New castle
in Pursuance of the Order of the nineteenth of
November last And that his Grace said that in the Year 1715 on the Accession
of His Majesty King George the first to the Therone the Lord Lieutenant &
Custos Rotulorian of the County
of Middlesex the Deputy Lieutenants and
Justices of the Peace
for the said County with the Justices of the Peace
for the said
County with the Justices of the Peace
for the City and Liberty of West minister
joined in one Address to the Majesty that Addresses on the present Occasion
were very numerors that one Address would Answer the same and as three
Seperate Address and desired the Precedent with his Opinion & request
might be communicated to the Sessions
The precedent in the Year 1715 was then called for and read and after
some Debate the Committee came to the following Resolution
Resolved
That it is the Opinion of this Committee that on the Present Occasion It will
be convenient and proper for the Justices of the Peace
for this County to join in one
and the same Address with the Lord Lieutenant & Custos Rotulerum the
Deputy Lieutenants
of the County of Middlesex
and Justices of the Peace
for the
City and Liberty of Westminster
And that this Resolution of theirs be reported to
the Sessions on Thursday next (being the county day) for the Approbation of
the court And that the Deputy Lieutenants of this County and the Justices of the
Peace for the City and Liberty of West minister have Notice of this resolution that
their Assent or Dissent there to may be known by the County Day
The Address as prepared was then layd before the Committee and being
read was approved of
Resolved
That the said Address be laid before the Sessions on Thursday next being the
County Day for the Approbation of the Court And one Copy of the said Address was
ordered to be made and transmitted forth with to the Deputy Lieutenants and
another to
