Table Cloth Chairs Etc.

It is Ordered that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do Pay to Mr.
Francis Thompson< no role > the Smn of Eleven Pounds five Shillings in full of
his Bill for new matting in the Hall here and for a Dozen of Chairs and
a Green Cloth for the Table in the Grand Jury Room and other things in
the Bill Mentioned done and Provided by Order of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace of
this County and that the Receipt of the said Mr Thompson together with
this order shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer for such Paymt.

For repairing Clock

It is Ordered that Mr John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do Pay to Mr.
John White< no role > the Housekeeper at Hicks Hall the Sum of One Pound three Shill
and Six Pence in full of two several Bills delivered to him and presented to this
Court for mending and repairing the Case of the Clock in the Dining Room
and for cleaning the Clock and that the Receipt of the said Mr.
White together with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge to the -
said Treasurer for such Payment.

pd. by him by ordr. of ye Justices at ye
Meetings with Workmen}

It being reported to this Court by Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esqr one of His Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for this County being of the Committee on the Alterations and Repairs
at the two Prisons at Clerkenwell that the Sum of Two Pounds and two Shillings had
been disbursed and paid by Mr James Jefferson< no role > the Deputy Clerk of the Peace of this
County at Meetings with Workmen on that Business by order of this Majesty's said Justice
present at these meetings It is therefore Ordered by this Count that Mr John Higgs< no role >
the Treasurer , of this County Do pay to the said Mr Jefferson the said two pounds to
Shillings and that his Receipt together with this Order shall be a sufficient Discharge
to the said Treasurer for such Payment

This Court taking into Consideration the great Service done this County by Boulton
Mainwaring Esqr . One of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this County in
examing the State of the several Prisons of this County called New Prison and
the House of Correction at Clerkenwell and planing the Alterations by the Court of Genl.
Session of the Peace thot. necessary to be made in the same hud making Estimates
of the Charge & in directing and superintending the Work men in the Execution
thereof & examining their Bills and Charges and being Sensible that the Care
& Circumspection of the Said Mr Mainwaring hath been the means of great
