his Bill for new matting in the Hall here and for a Dozen of Chairs and
a Green Cloth for the Table in the Grand Jury Room and other things in
the Bill Mentioned done and Provided by Order of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace of
this County and that the Receipt of the said Mr Thompson together with
this order shall be a sufficient discharge to the said Treasurer
for such Paymt.

examing the State of the several Prisons of this County called New Prison

the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
and planing the Alterations by the Court of Genl.
Session of the Peace thot. necessary to be made in the same hud making Estimates
of the Charge & in directing and superintending the Work men in the Execution
thereof & examining their Bills and Charges and being Sensible that the Care
& Circumspection of the Said Mr Mainwaring hath been the means of great
