the next General Session of the Peace to be holden for this County And the said Mr.
Wood and Mr. Hudson and also Sir Philip Musgrave< no role > Baronet are desired to give
Directions in the mean time for the laying of such Quantity of Gravel upon the
said Bridge as they shall judge to be necessary.

By adjournment on Thursday the twelfth day of January 1758

Order for discharging the
Inspectors of the Distempered
Cattle from their Office

It appearing unto this Court that Distemper which for divers Years last past hath
raged amongst the Horned Cattle in this County is now ceased It is Ordered by
this Court that Edward Tomkins< no role > Thomas Lane< no role > John Slee< no role > and John Jones< no role > , Inspector
of the Distempered Horned Cattle in the said County be and they are hereby
discharged from their said Office

By adjournment on Thursday the twelfth day of January 1758.

Order for appointing James
Taylor
< no role > High Constable for
Kensington Division in the
place of James Trimmer< no role > .

Whereas James Trimmer< no role > exhibited his humble Petition unto this Court Setting
forth That he was appointed High Constable for Kensington Division in the said
County on the fourteenth day of July last past and that he had from that time
executed the Office with the greatest Endeavour to oblige but leaving agreed to make
Bricks for a Pile of Barracks to be erected on the Kings Ground at Chatham under
the Direction of Captain Desmaretz Wick will take up so much of the Petitioner
time for two years that he shall not be able to attend so well as he hath done [..]
the Execution of his Office and as the Petitioner hath collected the County Rate
charged upon the said Division and paid all the moneys so collected to the Treasurer
of the said County the Petitioner humbly prayed to be discharged from the said
Office This Court being satisfied of the truth of the premisses doth appoint James
Taylor of Old Brentford in the Parish of Ealing within the Division and County
aforesaid to be High Constable for the said Division in the Place and stead of
the said James Trimmer< no role > And this Court doth Order that the said James Taylor< no role >
do forthwith (after Notice of this Order) attend one of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace for this County residing in or near the said Division and take his Oath for
the Due Execution of the said Office of High Constable for the said Division and
from and after the time of his having taken such Oath the said James Timmer< no role >
is to stand absolutely discharged from being High Constable for Kensington
Division aforesaid.
