By adjournmt. on Thursday the eleventh day of September 1755 .

Order for Mr. Higgs Trearer
to pay 27.7.10 to Mr. Robert
Burnham for Plaisterers
Work done at the House of
Correction and New Prison .

A Bill of Mr. Robert Burnham< no role > Plaisterer having been produced to this Court for
Work done at the House of Correction at Clerkenwell and at New prison at
Clerkenwell in this County amounting to the Sum of twenty seven pounds seven
shillings and ten pence halfpenny And it appearing to this Court that the said
Bill is just and reasonable It is Ordered by this Court that Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer of this County do pay the said Sum of twenty seven pounds seven
shillings and ten pence halfpenny unto the said Robert Burnham< no role > in full of his
said Bill whose Receipt together with this Order shall be a sufficient discharge
to the said Treasurer for such payment.

By adjournment on Thursday the eleventh day of September 1755.

Order for continuing and
electing Thomas Lane< no role > Esqr.
Chairman of the Court

His Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Middx. assembled at this present
General Session of the Peace holden for the said County do continue and elect Thomas.
Lane Esqr. to be Chairman of the General Quarter and General Sessions of the Peace
to be holden for the same County between Michaelmas One thousand seven
hundred and fifty five and Lady day then next ensuing.

By adjournment on Thursday the eleventh day of September 1755.

Order for taking the Account
of Mr. Higgs of the moneys by
him received as Treasurer as
of the moneys by him received
for the County Rents

It is Ordered by this Court that it be and it is hereby recommended and referred
unto George Errington< no role > Bartholomew Hammond< no role > and Boulton Mainwaring< no role > Esqrs.
his Majestys Justices of the Peace of this County and such other Justices of the Peace
of the said County as will please to be present or any two of them as a Committee
to meet together at Hicks Hall in St. John Street on Monday the twentieth day of
October next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon to inspect and audite the Accounts
of Mr. John Higgs< no role > touching the moneys by him received as Treasurer of this County
and of his Disbursements out of the same and also to inspect his Account of what
Sum and Sums of money he hath received and of whom for the Rents of the
Estate belonging to this County and how the same or any part thereof hath been
applied and disposed of and to report a State of the said respective Accounts
to the Court of the next General Quarter Session of the Peace for the said County
on the County day of the same Session.

By adjournment on Thursday the eleventh day of September 1755.

for the County of Middx and also
the Account of Mr. John Lane .

It is Ordered by this Court that it be and it is hereby recommended and referred unto
