County residing in or near the Said Division or one of them or
some other Justice of the Peace of this County residing in or near
the Same Division, And that the Said Bernard Hannington< no role > do
immediately take his Oath before the Said Justices or one of them
or other Justice as aforesaid for his due Execution of the Office of
high Constable in the Said Hundred of Elthorne for Uxbridge
Division aforesaid, And from and after the time of his having
taken Such Oath the Said Richard Peel< no role > is to Stand absolutely
discharged from being high Constable for Uxbridge Division
aforesaid.

By Adjornment on Thursday the twelfth Day
of January 1743 .

Order made upon the
Report of the Comittee
concerning several
matters relating to Hicks
Hall, touching the paymt.
of Moneys by the Trearer
and for confirming the
Report as to his Accots.
of the County Rents.}

Whereas Robert Hucks< no role > John Poulson< no role > , Francis Hole< no role >
and Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > Esquires being a Quorum of the
Committee of Justices of the Peace for this County appointed
by an Order in Such behalf made at the last General
Session of the Peace holden for the Said County by
Adjornment on the eighth Day of December last have
by their Report in writing under their hands Certified unto
this Court That in pursuance of the Said Order they did
meet and viewed the two Offices of Mr. Lindon & Mr. Higgs< no role >
the Clerks of the Indictments in the County,and of the
Sessions House called Hicks Hall in this County, and found
the Same to be very much out of Repair, and at the price
of forty three Pounds
And that the said two Offices ought
to be rebuilt, And that they are of Opinion to rebuild the
same according to the Plan and Estimate delivered with
this Report and at the Price of forty three Pounds menconed
in the Said Estimate, and which the Committee in their
Opinion thinks to be reasonable, And that the Committee
did likewise take into Consideracon the Alterations which
were proper to be made in the Court of Hicks Hall , and did
give Such Orders for Such Alterations as they thought most
convenient, which Said Work have been done and ought to be
paid for out of the County Rents, And that the Said Comittee
did alsor Order twelve new Chairs to be made and provided
for the Great Room at Hicks Hall and which are in the Said
GreatRoom for the Conveniency of his Majesty< no role > 's Justices of
the Peace of Middx, which are charged at fifteen Shillings each
Chair , which Said Price the said Committee leaves to the
Judgement of the Court, And the said Committee further
Reported that they have examined and audited the Accounts
