for this County or any three of them as a Committee to
meet together at Hicks Hall in St.John Street in the Said
County on Thursday the eighteenth day of December
instant at ten of the clock in the forenoon and at Such other
times as they Shall appoint to peruse and inspect the
account (to be produced & laid before them) of Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer of the Said County of what Sum or Sums of
money he hath reced by vertue of the Said Rate Since the
last Settleing of his Account, and of what money he hath
Since paid out of the Same, and to whom, including
therein the Several Sums of money already Ordered at this
present Sessions to be paid to Several persons out of the
moneys raised by vertue of the Said Rate after he Shall
have paid the Same, And to See what Sum of money is
remaining in the hands of the Said Treasurer upon the
ballance of Such account, to the end the Said Committee
may consider if any new Rate can be made at the
next Quarter Session of the peace for this County for
raiseing money for the rebuilding of Brentford Bridge
and for the other ends & purposes mentioned in the Said
Act of Parliament, And the Said Committee are desired to
make their Report in writing touching the premisses
unto the Court of the Said next Quarter Session.

being Several of the Committee of Justices of the peace
names in an Order made at the General Quarter Session
of the peace holden for the County of Middx by adjornment
on Thursday the Seventeenth day of April 1740 have by
their Report in writing by them Subscribed under their
hands & now delivered into this Court certifyed that in
pursuance of the Said Order they met at the time &
place appointed by the Said Order, and from thence
went to the House of Correction at Clerkenwell , and took
a view thereof, and of the dwelling house & premisses
in the Said Order mentioned, and gave such directions
to workmen who then attended them as they thought
necessary for the repaires to be done thereto, And in
pursuance of Such directions the roof of the
dwelling house (which was in great decay) was
