Sum of Sixteen Shillings and Six pence, and the bill of Thomas
Williams Glazier to the Sum of Nine Shillings in all one pound
five Shillings and Six pence for the Said repairs, which they are of
opinion to allow, and that the Treasurer do pay the Same In
regard the damage to the Said Hall happened by the late
great Storm of wind, This Court upon reading the Said Report
doth agree with the Said Committee, And doth thereupon Order
that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County do pay the Said Sum
of Sixteen Shillings and Six pence unto the Said Joseph
Jackson
< no role > , and the Said Sum of Nine Shillings unto the Said
Thomas Williams< no role > in full of their repective bills above mentioned
And that the Said Sums be allowed to the Said Treasurer upon his
account.

to examine after the end of
every three Months into
the charges of the Keepers
of the Houses of Correction
for passing & releiving
Vagabonds, and to adjust
the Sum to be paid them
for Such charges & what
allowance to make them
for their trouble}

Whereas Sr. Edward Hill< no role > Knt. Nicholas Jeffreys< no role > George Tarry< no role > John
Poulson & George Errington< no role > Esquires being a Quorum of the Comittee
of Justices of the peace for the County of Middx to whom It was
referred by an Order made at the last General Sessions to consider
what rates & prices are reasonable & fit to be allowed for
maintaining & passing of Rogues, Vagabonds or incorrigible
Rogues pursuant to the late Act of Parliament in Such case
made, and to consider of the difficultys which have arisen in &
about putting the Said Act in execution, have by their Report
in writing Certifyed to this Court That they have taken into
their consideration what rates & prices are reasonable to be
allowed for the Service aforesaid And are of opinion that the Said
rates & prices be the Same as are ascertained and mentioned
in an Order made at the General Quarter Sessions of the peace
holden for the Said County in the month of July last, and
do so continue untill further Order of the Court of General
Quarter or General Sessions of the peace for this County to
the Contrary, And that they are of opinion that such
rates & prices shall not extend to such Rogues and Vagabonds
as have or Shall be passed by the Keepers of the Houses
of Correction in this County, But that it may be proper that
the Court of Sessions Should appoint a Committee of Justices
of the peace to inspect and examine after the end of
every three Months the Accounts of the Keepers of the Said
Houses of Correction, of the charges which they have been
at in passing and releiving Rogues & Vagabonds in
pursuance of the Said Act and also the certificates & vouchers
of the Said Keepers, And to adjust what Sum of money
