Order & direct the Said Sum of thirty pounds a yeare to be paid to
any other person or persons That then if he the Said Thomas
Cavenagh doe & Shall from time to time well & truely pay the
Same unto Such person or persons and in Such manner as Shall
be Soe Ordered & directed, And that if he the Said Thomas
Cavenagh Soe long as he Shall continue Keeper of the Said
prison Shall at his owne proper costs & charges doe all Such
further repaires as Shall be necessary to be done to the Said
prison and the dwelling house buildings & appurtenances
thereunto belonging over & above what shall be done by his
payment of the Said Sum of twenty pounds a yeare to the
Said Clerk of the peace or his Deputy for the purpose aforesaid
And that if he the Said Thomas Cavenagh< no role > his Execrs. or
Admrs. doe & Shall from time to time well and truely pay or
cause to be paid unto the Sheriff of the said County for the time
being or his Order for the use of his now Matie King George the
Second his heires & Successors all Such Sum & Sums of money as
have been or Shall be imposed & Sett for any fine or fines by any of
the Justices of the peace for the Said County assembled at any of their
General or General Quarter Sessions of the peace held within
the Said County on any prisoner or prisoners committed or to be
Committed to the custody of the Said Thomas Cavenagh< no role > as Keeper
of the Said Prison for any Offence or Offences by them committed
and which Shall or without his or their wilfull default may at
any time or times be reced by him or his Servant or Servants
dureing Such time as the Said Thomas Cavenagh< no role > Shall
continue Keeper of the Said Prison, And doe and Shall
likewise from time to time well & truely accompt with and
pay unto the Clerk of the peace of the said County for the
time being or his Deputy all Such fees as the Said Thomas
Cavenagh or his respective Servant or Servants Shall or without
his or their wilfull default may dureing the time he Shall
continue Keeper of the Said prison receive for the use of Such
Clerk of the peace of any prisoner or prisoners committed or to be
committed to the Said Prison, And That whenever the Said
Thomas Cavenagh< no role > Shall be displaced removed or discharged
from the Said Office or employment of Keeper of the Said
prison by the Justices of the peace of the Said County or the
major part of them That then if he the Said Thomas Cavenagh< no role >
Shall forthwith peaceably deliver up and quitt the possession
of the Said prison and the dwelling house & buildings thereto
belonging and the Said Garden & Orchard and other the
appurts together with the prisoners committed to his custody
as Keeper of the Said prison & then remaining undischarged
