general renewing of Licences of Alehousekeepers and Victuallers within
the same Division according to the intent and meaning of the Statute in
such case made and provided and of an Order made at the General Quarter
Sessions of the peace holden for this County on Wednesday the eleventh
day of January in the seventh year of the Reign of his present Maty
King George, for limitting and declaring the Fees of the Clerks to the
Justices of the peace for this County.

P adjorn Sabti 16o. die January 1724.

to cause six Bayliffs to attend
the Court of General and
General Quarter Sessions of
the peace during the sitting
of the Court}

It is Ordered by this Court that the Sheriffe of this County of Middx
for the time being Do for the future cause six of his Bayliffs to attend
the Court of every General and General Quarter Sessions of the peace
to be hereafter holden for this County upon his Maties service there
upon every day of each Sessions during the sitting of the Court.

up a Representacon agt.

It is Ordered by this Court that the Drawing up of the Representacon
which was directed at the last Sessions to be drawn up against
Samuel Newton< no role > Esqr for Misdemeanours alledged to have been
comitted by him in relation to his office of a Justice of the peace of
this County) be referred unto Sr. Daniel Dolins< no role > Knt Sr. Isaac Tillard< no role >
Knt . Sr . John Gonson< no role > Knt. William Wickham< no role > and William Cotesworth< no role >
Esqrs Justices of the peace for this County or any three of them, who
are hereby desired to examine if any and what licence or licences
have been granted or signed by the said Mr Newton to any person or
persons for the selling of Beer or Ale within or at the place called
the New Mint, And to inquire into the whole Conduct of the said
Mr Newton as a Justice of the peace of this County, And to draw up
such Representation as to them shall seem proper to be drawn up
to the right honble. the Lords Comissioners for Custody of the Great
Seal of Great Britain against the said Mr Newton for any
misdemeanour or misdemeanours by him comitted in
relation to his said Office, And to meet together touching the
premises at Hicks Hall on the first day of the next sessions.
