Order for Mr. Tho. Jones high
Constable of Holborn Division
& several peace Officers to attend
the Court}

It is Ordered by this Court that Thomas James< no role > Gent high Constable of
Holborn Division and also Joel Iles< no role > present Constable and David Price< no role > late
Headborough and George Crayton< no role > [..] and John Penny< no role > present
Headboroughs of the parish of St. Giles in the Fields in this County do
attend this Court on Wednesday the thirteenth day of January instant at
three of the Clock in the afternoon to give an accompt of several matters
and things which shall be required of them by this Court.

P adjorn Mercury 13o. die January 1724.

Order to draw up a Representacon
agt. Sr. Harry Dutton Colt< no role > Bart .} Information haveing been given to this Court And it also appearing that
Lawrence Saint Loe< no role > Esqr . being a shelterer in the New Mint in the hamlet
of Wapping Stepney in this County and charged before several of his Maties
Justices of the peace of this County with being a Ring leader and principal
promoter of the riots and disorders lately comitted in the New Mint he the said
Lawrence Saint Loe< no role > for want of sufficient Sureties to answer the same was with
several other Rioters comitted to the Goal of Newgate, and being brought down
to the Court of Goal Delivery at the Old Raily with the said Rioters, the said
Saint Loe was remanded to Newgate, and referred for bail to the comitting
Justices, And that Sr. Harry Dutton Colt Bart . one of the Justices The peace
of this County (notwithstanding such Order of reference and also in breach of
a regulating Order of Sessions that no Justice shall bail a prisoner comitted
by another Justice without acquainting him) hath sollicited several Justices
of the peace to joyn with him in bailing the said Saint Loe which he hath
since done, And that the said Saint Loe tho' Indicted for the aforesaid fact
hath not yet appeared thereto, And notwithstanding a letter was sent by
direction of this Court unto the said Sr. Harry Dutton Colt that he might
appear and give an accompt to this Court of his proceedings in the said matter,
yet he hath not appeared but instead of so doing hath sent a Letter to the
Clerke of the peace justifying his irregular conduct, Whereupon This Court
is of opinion that the said Sr. Harry Dutton Colt is guilty of a great
misdemeanor in relation to the premises And that a Representation
be drawn up against him for the same to the right honble the Lords
Comrs. for Custody of the great seal of Great Britain, And doth thereupon
Order that it be and it is hereby recomended and referred unto Sr. Daniel
Dolins Knt. Sr . John Gonson< no role > Knt. William Wickham< no role > Leonard Streate< no role >
Nathaniel Blackerby< no role > John Ellis< no role > D'Oyly Michel< no role > Edward Ridley< no role > William
Cotesworth
< no role > John Fuller< no role > John Mercer< no role > Gwin Vaughan< no role > John Beaver< no role >
and Richard Gifford< no role > Esqrs Justices of the peace for this County or any
three of them as a Comittee to see what Recognizance hath been
entred into before the said Sr. Harry Dutton Colt for the appearance of
the said Saint Loe at the Sessions to answer the premises above mentioned,
and to inquire if the bail given for such appearance of the said Saint Loe
are persons of sufficient ability, And also to consider of the aforesaid letter
sent by the said Sr. Harry Dutton Colt to the said Clerke of the peace, And
