plainly appeares by a Recognizance certifyed by the
said Mr. Newton to this present Sessions that the said
Sarah Roper< no role > together with her Secureties became
bound therein before the said Mr. Newton on the
Nineteenth day of November now last for the
personall appearance of the said Sarah Roper< no role > at
this present Sessions to answer for the said
Offence, And the said Mr. Newton being now
present and being required to answer the
premisses, But not giveing any tolerable Answer
to shewing a reason why the discharged the said
Edward Loyd< no role > out of New Prison aforesaid or
why he Superseded the Execution of the said Warrant
against the said Sarah Roper< no role > on the said
Sixteenth day of November last, This Court
is of Opinion that the proceedings of the said Mr.
Newton are very unwarrantable and irregular,
and that he hath comitted a great misdemeanor
in so doing, Wherefore and for that a Representacon
hath been formerly made against him by his Majestys
Justices of the Peace of this County to the Right
Honoble. the Lord High Chancellor for another
misdemeanor (vizt.) for discharging one Edmond
Juby out of New Prison aforesaid whom he had
comitted thither for Felony and Robbery on the
Kings highway, It is thought fit and Ordered by
this Court that it be And It is hereby recomended
and referred unto Sr. John Gonson< no role > Sr. Daniel
Dolius Sr. Isaac Tillard< no role > Knights William
Wickham
