Order for severall
Cls. to Justices of peace
to show cause why 1st.
should not be pd. to the
Cryer for each new
Victualler 's licence,

Upon complaint made unto this Court by Mrs. Frances Seymour< no role >
on behalf of her husband Christopher Seymour< no role > Gents
Housekeeper & Cryer of this Court that severall of his
Matis. Justices of the peace for this County have between the
times appointed for the generall renewall of Victualler's
licences granted new licences to severall new Alehouse
keepers & Victuallers in the sd. County, and taken
Recognizances of such now Victuallers for keeping of good
Orders in their respective houses, and that their Clerks
keep them a long time in their hands before they
bring them to the Office of the Clerke of the peace of this
County to be entred & Registred, and then refuse to
pay a fee of one shilling P licence to the Cryer for
such now licences, In contempt of an order of Sessions
of the first of March one thousand seven hundred &
seventeen, and insist noe such fee is due to the Cryer,
It is Ordered by this Court that James Tyton< no role > John
Story
< no role > Samuel Woodcock< no role > Robert Cubbidge< no role > & Samuel
Coleper
< no role > Gentl five of the Clerkes belonging to his
Maties. Justices of the peace of this County doe attend
this Court on Thursday next at two of the clock in
the afternoon to answer their contempt of the sd.
Order, and shew cause why the Cryer of this Court
ought not to have a fee of one shilling paid
him on granting of each new Victuallers licence,

Seymour on behalfe of her husband Christopher
