Upon Informacon given unto this Court by Charles Medlycott< no role >
Esqr . One of his Maties Justices of the peace for this County
that severall Clerks belonging to his Maties Justices of the
peace for this County doe take excessive fees & such as are
not warranted by Law It is ordered by this Court that It
be and It is hereby recomended & referred unto John Milner< no role > This name instance is in set 4214.
Esqr . Sr. John Austen< no role > Bart . Sr. John Bennett< no role > Knt . Serjt. at
law Henry Barker< no role > Joseph Offley< no role > , Martin Ryder< no role > , Robert
Thornhill, Richard Woolaston< no role > , Whitlock Bulstrode< no role > , John
Rotherham< no role > John Fuller, Charles Medlycott< no role > & Alexander
Ward< no role > Esqrs , Justices of the peace for this County or any
three or more of them & such other Justices of the peace
for this County as shall think fitt to be present to assemble
& meet together at Hicks hall on Fryday the fifteenth day
of March next at ten of the clock in the forenoon and to
examine what fees are usually taken & reced by the
severall Clerks belonging to the Justices of the peace of
this County And see whether any & which of such fees
be excessive or illegall and not warranted by Law And
for that end & purpose the Clerke of the peace of this
County or his Deputy is to attend, the sd Justices of the
peace or any three or more of them & place
aforesaid And the Cryer of this Court is forthwith to give
notice of the time and place of Meeting as aforesaid to the
severall Referrees above named
