Benjamin Griffin Jackson< no role > of the Fleet Prison
the above Named Prosecutor maketh Oath and saith that
this Inditement which was found Yesterday by the Grand
Jury is for the Murder of the late Mr Charles Hart< no role >
by the Defendant William Clipsons< no role > Puting him
a Damp Loathsome Dungeon in this Prison and
keeping him there for Sixteen Days without permiting
him to take any Air whatsoever the said Charles Hart< no role >
being then a Prisoner for Debt and the said William Clip-
son being the head Turnkey and haveing the intire man-
nagement of the inside of the said Prison and this depo-
nent further saith that this Deponent and the Rever [..]

Material and Necessary [..] Witnesses upon the Trial of this
Indictment and are all Prisoners for Debt in this Prison
and this Deponent further saith that in Order to Obtain
a Habeas Corpus to bring before this Honorable Court
several of the above named Gentleman to give Testi-
mony before the Grand Jury on this Indictment
Copies of their Causes were applied for but could not be
Obtained from the office of this Prison until after the
Bill was presented as this Deponant is informed and
believes therefore this Deponant was obliged to Proceed to
