The King against William Fillery< no role >

David Philip Jenkinson< no role > of Bartlets Buildings
Holborn in the City of London Gentleman and John
Voyle
< no role > House Surgeon at Saint Bartholomews Hospital
severally make oath and say and first this Deponent
David Philip Jenkinson for himself saith That he
this Deponent was present and took down the
Examination of several Witnesses upon a Charge
against William Fillery< no role > for wilfully maliciously
and Feloniously strouting at William Hayes< no role > and
thereby dangerously wounding him, before Mr.
Alderman Watson on the nineteenth day of June
last past and when upon the Depositions of such
Witnesses the said William Fillery< no role > was Committed
to Goal by the said Mr. Alderman Watson upon the
said Charge (a Copy of which Commitment is hereunto
Annexed) And this Deponent further saith that the
said William Hayes< no role > now lays in Bartholomew Hospital
dangerously ill as this Deponent is informed and
verily believes from the shot wound given by the said
William Fillery< no role > And this Deponent John Voyle< no role > for
himself saith that the said William Hayes< no role > was
Attended by this Deponent as a surgeon on the Morning
he was shot when he was brought into the said
Hospital and this Deponent extracted a slug or peice
of lead from the Thigh of the said William Hayes< no role > and
from the marks and Appearances of his Thigh this
Deponent verily believes there remains another slug or
peice of Lead which he this Deponent cannot yet get
at to extract And this Deponent further saith That
the Thigh Boneof the upper part of the thighof the said
William Hayes< no role > is thereby much shattered and broken
the Thigh is much sevelled and that there is a vast
discharge therefrom And this Deponent further saith
that the said William Hayes< no role > is so ill therefrom that he is
in imminent danger of losing his Life and is not able to
be removed.
