Street Saint James taken
before Us two of his Majesty's
Justices of the peace for the said
Co [..]

Who being Upon Oath Saith that on Sunday
Morning last between the hours of three and
four o'Clock he was going along Holborn when
the person now present who calls herself
Ann Green< no role > asked this Informant if he would
go with her, when she took him to her Lodgings
in the house of the person now present who
calls herself Mary < no role > wife of Luke Murphy< no role > in
Cross Lane Saint Giles when the said Ann
Green asked this Informant if he would give
her any Money, upon which the gave her
eighteen pence and they went to Bed together
that between five and Six o Clock on the same
Morning this Informant got up to go away
when the said Ann Green< no role > [..] bloody
thief are you going won't you give one some
more Money and Immediately ran up to
him and Snatch'd a Silk Handkerchief out
of his Coat pocket and called Murder Several
times and said Stop the bloody thief, and on
going down Stair, he was Stop'd by the
