This Examinant John Beale< no role >
saith That on Wednesday the
Seventh day of June last between ten & Eleven at Night a
great & riotous Mob of people assembled tumultuously [..]
before the House of the St. Martin Butler< no role >
who threatened to
pull down demolish the same And that Thomas Hodges< no role >
als Totum was one of the sd. Mob who so assembled and at the
same Time carried a Blue Ensign or Flag in his Hand
to direct and encourage the sd. Mob & that he were a blue
Cockade in his Hat And the Examinant Martin Butler< no role >
for
himself saith that the sd. Mob did assemble as aforesd.
knocked at his Door & threatened to pull down his House
ofalledging that he was a Roman Catholick
and this
Examinant was obliged to give to the sd. Mob Twelve Shillings
& Six pence to pacify them though they did not demand money whereupon they departed but
this Examinant saith that he does not know [..]

& therefore cannot charge him with being among the sd. Mob And the
Examinant John Beale< no role >
for himself saith that whilst part
of the sd. Mob entred the House of the sd. Martin Butler< no role >
as
aforesd. the Residue therefo among whom was the sd. Thomas
