The Information of James Brown< no role > ,
Servant to Mr Thomas Langdale< no role > , Distiller at
Holborn Bridge , LondonWho, being on [..]
Oath, saith, that on Wednesday the seventh
day of June Instant, about half an hour past
three OClock in the Afternoon, he this Informant
was in the Shop of his said Master, and saw
Thomas Tipson< no role > the Prisoner now under
Examination, and Robert Smille at the head
of a Mob of Riotors,eachthat of [..] them the said Tipson and< no role > Smille had an
iron bar in his handSays, that the Prisoner
and Smille put each his iron bar across the
Door of Mr Langdale's House< no role > Informant
thinking he knew the Prisoner, Thomas Tipson< no role > ,
accosted him, and said, he thought the Prisoner
was a Birmingham Lad< no role > Prisoner answered
that he was, and shook Informant by the
HandInformant asked the Prisoner if he
would drink, which the Prisoner declined
the Prisoner said to Informant, that he was at
the head of the People (meaning the Mob at the Door) and not a
Soul of them should come inSays, that he
asked the Prisoner what he wanted, the
Prisoner answered, that he was informed there
was a Romish Chapel in the HouseInform0ant
told the Prisoner, that there was not a Chapel, and
he might go and search the House all over,
the Prisoner said, he would not gothe
Prisoner told this Informant, that as they
(meaning as Informant understood, himself and
the Persons at the Door) were coming along
Bloomsbury Square , they had a Battle and lost some Men and
their ColoursSays, that the Prisoner then
shook his Waistcoat Pocket, which appeared
