LONDON COMMITMENTS.

John Pitt< no role > , and Barnard Male, for having, with a great number of dis-
orderly persons assembled themselves together in a riotous and tumultuous
manner, on Tuesday the 6th of June instant, and he the said Richard
Hyde brandishing< no role > a cutlass, and threatening vengeance to the said Rich-
ard Akerman< no role > and his assistants in his Majesty< no role > 's gaol of Newgate .
Dated June 13, 1780.

9 Richard Dorrington< no role > , in Woodstreet -compter, committed by the Right
Hon. Brackley Kennet< no role > , Esq ; Lord-Mayor, on oath of Christopher
Chivers and others, for unlawfully and violently assembling together
on Wednesday the 7th day of June inst. with several other persons, and
breaking the windows, and wilfully destroying the furniture and goods
in the Sessions-house, in the parish of Saint Sepulchre, London.
Dated June 13, 1780.

10 Abraham Bassett< no role > , in Woodstreet -compter, committed by Mr. Alderman
Alsop, on oath of Alexander Scott< no role > , for assembling himself with a great
number of persons unknown, to the terror of the people, at the house
of Thomas Landgale< no role > , situate at Holborn-bridge , London, and there
being present at, and felonioulsy and traiterously assisting in demolishing
the said house. Dated june 13, 1780.

11 Robert Cubbidge< no role > , in Woodsteet-compter, committed by the Right Hon< no role > .
Thomas Harley< no role > , Esq ; on oath of James Mathews< no role > and others, for fe-
loniously stealing a wooden cask containing a quantity of liquor called
carraway, and a copper funnel, the propperty of Thomas Langdale< no role > .
Dated June 13, 1780.

12 Thomas Crankshaw< no role > , in Woodstreet -compter, committed by Mr. Alderman
Wilkes, on oath of John Hiell< no role > , for feloniously aiding and assisting in
pulling down and setting fire to the dwelling-house of John Eyles< no role > , the
warden of his Majesty< no role > 's prison of the Fleet , in the parish of St. Bride .
Dated June 13, 1780.

13 Thomas Hodges< no role > , in Woodstreet -compter, committed by the Right Hon< no role > .
Thomas Harley< no role > , Esq ; on oath of John Beal< no role > and Martin Butler< no role > , for
assembling himself in company with a great number of persons at pre-
sent unknown, in the Minories , in the city of London , and there
threatening to pull down the house of the said Martin Butler< no role > , on ac-
count of his being said by them to be a Papist; whereby he was put in
great fear and danger. For want of sureties. Dated June 13, 1780.

14 Stephen Freeman< no role > , in Woodstreet -compter, committed by Mr. Alderman
Wilkes, on oath of John Hiell< no role > , Esq ; for high treason, in compassing
the death of the king, exciting traiterous insurrections, and endeavour-
ing to drive his Majesty< no role > from the throne. Dated June 13, 1780.

15 William Moore< no role > , in Woodstreet -compter, committed by Mr. Alderman
Wilkes, on oath of Thomas Ward< no role > , with being the printer and pub-
lisher of two seditious and treasonable papers, intituled, England in Blood,
and The Thunderer; and feloniously, riotously, and tumultuously assem-
bling with diverse other person, on Wednesday the 7th day of June
